Valentina Arismendi is a sophomore UNC student studying interactive media and English. Her talk tells the story of her life in Venezuela and how that experience inspired her to use the media as an outlet for change.
Nipun Mehta is the founder of ServiceSpace.org, an incubator of projects that support a gift culture. His mission in life is to “bring smiles in the world and stillness in my heart.” Through his work in social change, Nipun was recognized by the Dalai Lama as an “Unsung Hero of Compassion.”
Grayson Sword is a 17-year-old high school senior and open heart surgery survivor who will speak about transforming mental, physical, and emotional pain into healing.
Hanna Watson is a UNC student and spoken word artist who will perform her poetry during the conference.
